When permitted under the individual's authorized services or private-pay service arrangement, caregivers may assist with essential errands and appropriate community activities.

Gentle Hearts recognizes the importance of socialization, independence, and maintaining connections with the community.

When appropriate and permitted, reasonable personal or recreational outings may be incorporated into an individual's routine.
However, in-home care is not designed to provide unlimited personal transportation or unrestricted recreational trips.

Transportation to Medical Services
Caregiver transportation and outings must remain:​
